Since March 2010 every month Nord FX holds a two-week "DemoCup" contest.
Every month's draw is $3 000. The annual prize fund is $46 000. Anyone may take part in the contest and participation is absolutely free.

Only practice (demo) accounts may participate in the contest, however all the awards are real. Who might become a winner? The names of top 10 will be announced in the monthly phase of the contest, names of those who can prove profitability of their trade strategies, those who starting trade using the demo account with virtual $10 000 and who have the largest deposit after two week period.

Dear users, we are pleased to present you an exclusive interview with 3rd stage DemoCup winner!

1) How long have you been trading Forex?

I'm trading forex for 3 years.

2) What is the time frame of your trading system?

It's hard to tell, because my system uses multiple timeframes. But mainly I
focus on lower timeframes, from M1 to M15. Higher timeframes are just for
help.

3) How do you determine points of market entry and exit (if it is not
considered to be a commercial secret)?

Points of entry and exit are calculated by the expert advisor. It uses
several indicators (mostly custom). My system is based mostly on market
range/momentum/volitality indicators.

4) Do you use any own (self made) indicators and advisors?

Yes.

5) Is the use of Stop Loss required by your trading strategy?

Of course. My trading strategy is mostly scalping, therefore I use very
tight stoploss - 5 to 10 pips.

6) What have attracted you to our demo accounts contest?

The prize, of course

7) Would you like to amend some conditions of the contest?

No, I think everything is ok.

8) Do you plan to continue trading on NordFX life accounts?

Yes, I already have an account with NordFX.

9) Could you please offer some advices for beginners?

First of all, always use stop loss. Remember about a good risk to reward
ratio - dont trade systems with 10 pips TP and 100 pips SL. And one last
thing - dont make your firs live account deposit too big. In most cases
you'll loose it. I did
