U.S. Consumer Confidence Levels Remain Very Depressed

The Conference Board's measure of consumer confidence dropped 11.9 points in March to 64.5, its lowest level since 2003. The decline was much sharper than market forecasts calling for a 1.5 point drop. The level of last month's index was revised up to 76.4 from an initial estimate of 75....
